Gratitude Journal Part 2

I want my pages to be 5 inches square with a 1/4” gap between pages to allow room for embellishments. I don’t need that 1/4” gap between the cover and the title page so for the first 2 pages I cut a piece of cardstock 10 1/4” x 5” and scored the long side at 5” and 5 1/4”. The rest of the pages I cut at 5” x 5 1/4” and scored at 5”.

For the title page I inked the entire page with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide.

Then I glued on some leaves that I picked up in my yard and coated with Mod Podge, die cut Give Thanks from Gold mirror paper and glued it on then placed a the page face down on a non-stick mat and put a heavy object on top to hold it flat while the glue dried.

For the rest of the pages I inked the edges with Ground Espresso then made pockets to hold journaling tags. So far I have completed enough pages for the first 5 days of daily journaling about things I for which I am grateful in November.

I have also made 5 journalling tags in various sizes to place in the pockets.

When my journal is complete I will post a flip through on this blog.
