Vintage Grunge

I was in the mood for grunge. I made 2 card fronts, a tag and an undecided object.

For the 2 card fronts and the tag, I stamped the images, did some very basic coloring with Copics, inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide, added splatters and finger prints to the “Just a Note” card front with the same ink and I was done.

The last piece was a bit more involved. I stamped the base layer images then used embossing ink to stamp the detail layers. After embossing, I inked the paper with Vintage Photo and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide. Misted it with water, dried it, inked it again and just kept playing with it until I liked it. Once I was done with the ink blending I used the embossing heat tool to dry it and bring the shine back to the embossed images then I tore the edges and inked them. I added spattering with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide then finally managed to make myself stop messing with it.

I don’t know yet how I want to use this piece, maybe a card or possibly add it to a junk journal or my art journal. It might even be added to a scrapbook layout.
