Stamp images from the Grassy Grove stamp set on the 4 squares of Soft Sea Foam, remembering that they will be in diamond orientation. Adhere to the matching squares of Rich Razzleberry. Adhere Blackberry Bliss DSP to the remaining pieces of Rich Razzleberry.

To assemble the card, glue the (2) 5 1/4″ x 1 7/8″ pieces to the left side of the card base leaving an 1/8″ border all around. Adhere the triangles on the right side of the card using the top and bottom of the pieces just attached as placement guides. Adhere the large diamond centered in the opening between the triangles.

Fold the card base at the 4 1/4″ score line and burnish the crease to get a crisp fold to make the floating mechanism work smoothly. Fold the 4″ strip in half, making sure the ends meet evenly. If necessary, trim the ends to match. Open it up again. Glue one end of the strip to the card centered between the top and bottom triangles with the end just at the crease in the card, (be sure the end does not touch or cross the crease). Fold the strip in half, add glue to the 1″ tab at the end of the strip and carefully close the card on it while holding the strip flat. Place a weight on the card to hold it while the glue dries.

Once the glue is dry, finish the card by adhering the three stamped diamonds. Add glue to one only half of the back of the diamond and adhere to the right of the 2 1/8″ score line by lining up the top and bottom points with the edge of the Rich Razzleberry mat. Repeat with the bottom diamond. Adhere the center diamond to th floating mechanism by adding glue to just the back of the left corner of the diamond and placing it on the top of the strip. Gently close the card and align the floating diamond with the fixed diamonds while the glue is still wet. Hold the card closed until the glue sets.

And that is the Floating Diamond card finished! This design works well with any stamped, die cut or punched images that fit in the diamonds.
